check motherboard type and hardware installed

If you need to check your motherboard's model and you can't open your chassis, you can
install free software dmidecode, which can be donwloaded from http://www.nongnu.org/dmidecode/.

Currently the following operation systems are supported:

* Linux i386
* Linux x86_64
* Linux ia64
* FreeBSD i386
* FreeBSD x86_64
* NetBSD i386
* OpenBSD i386
* BeOS i386
* Cygwin i386
* Solaris x86 (CVS version)

Once it's installed, you can run 'dmidecode' and you'll see list of handles that have most information installed on your system such as motherboard's model, chassis, CPUs, chipset and so on.

The example below shows of handles that have motherboard's model:


Handle 0x0002
DMI type 2, 8 bytes.
Base Board Information
Manufacturer: Supermicro
Product Name: X5DPR
Version: PCB Version
Serial Number: 0123456789
